Large American searchlight from the brand 'The Carlisle & Finch Co'.
Made for the U.S. Navy.
It has therefore served on a ship at some point.The handle can adjust the slats behind the glass.
To allow more or less light to pass through.The whole is painted in a kind of navy gray.
