From the Ghent studio of Charles Maes.
Flemish pottery, or "poterie Flamande," is a term for all decorative pottery made in Flanders. This pottery became popular primarily from the second half of the 19th century onward.
It was made in various locations and by various potters.
For example, much of this pottery was produced in Torhout, Bruges, Kortrijk, Bredene, and Sint-Niklaas.
We won't even begin to list all the potters and studios.
